It has been a little slow around here as I’ve been working hard on my premium theme. But to keep myself from getting burnt out I decided to spend a little time on a free theme, but I also wanted to something different. The result is Techno Boxes.

The theme is a liquid theme with an image heavy front page. The images on the front page can be any size, which leaves how the page will look totally up to you. The only caveat(at least at the moment) is that the images need to be the same height. Navigation will be handled by widgets in the footer. There is a mostly normal liquid post page with a widgetized sidebar. There is also a custom archives page thats heavy on the images.

I also decided to play with transparent pngs for icons in this theme, which means two things. The bad news is the theme won’t work in IE 6( it could, if you are capable of making the edits). The good news is, you can change the colors of the icons with CSS. I had really bold colors in mind when creating this theme so its really heavy on the contrast.

Well I’ll stop talkin about it now and get back to workin on it.
