UTSportsTV
University of Tennessee Athletics department wanted a modern and stylish website to show off their amazing video work and engage fans. I was responsible for developing the back-end built off of WordPress, front-end development and the design itself.
The site is currently averaging several thousand hits a day and has been a great success. UTSports.tv is also an example of using data to refine the site and continued development.
UTSportsTV uses WordPress to manage all of the content. A custom post page allows for easy updating of the site's videos. Custom plugins were developed to incorporate FlowPlayer, Amazon S3, and custom contest forms into the site.

Visionary Home Builders
Visionary Home Builders came to me wanting to update their current website’s design to reflect who they were as a business. This included not only a complete redesign, but implementing several features such as a blog, class calendar, and detailed property listings. The design was meant to be friendly and easy to navigate to the main sections of the site quickly and gather the information needed.
VHB needed a way to show off their properties online to potential renters. I combined large images, easy navigation, at a glance details, and rich maps to give the properties an online home which can be easily expanded.

Mideast Tweets
Mideast Youth needed to have their Mideast Tweets project design polished and converted to standards based code. I was tasked with providing slight changes to the layout, polishing the design, and re-coding the HTML and CSS. The result is a clear look into the middle east through twitter.

Happy Woman Handbook
The author of The Happy Woman Handbook wanted to sale copies of the book online and came to me to create a simple one page website focused on selling the book. The design is a sleek dark interface with bright red breaking up the separate sections clearly. It was integrated with e-junkie to make processing orders as quick and painless as possible.

Checkmate WordPress Theme
Checkmate is a free WordPress theme available for download. It includes advanced features usually reserved for premium themes. Checkmate is being used on many top sites and in several languages. The design was kept minimalistic for flexibility and ease of customizing. The layout is customizable and is used by blogs and magazine type websites. At it’s release it was one of very few advanced WordPress themes available for free.
